Demand for North American lumber stayed weak, with supply exceeding demand in most categories, and panel prices becoming more vulnerable.

The price of Western spruce pine fir fell by 7% to $356 in the week ending June 21, down $28 from the previous week and 12% lower than the same week in 2023.

Compared to two years ago, the price of Western spruce pine fir has fell by 33%.
