Posted on February 5, 2025 |
Sveza Group is investing 400 million rubles (US$3.97 million) to add robotic systems at its Tyumen plant to address labor shortages.
The Tyumen facility will lead in full automation, while other locations will integrate robots for selected tasks.
The company will deploy 20 robotic arms to handle veneer and plywood sorting, repairs, and packaging.
These robots will enhance efficiency and maintain production despite workforce shortages.
Sveza aims to have the new robotic systems operational by the end of the year.
