Sveaskog, the largest forest owner in Sweden, has revealed plans to raise prices for wood sold by private forest owners to the company.

Sawlog prices will be adjusted upwards by SEK 80 to 100 per m³ sub, and pulpwood prices will see a hike of SEK 25 per m³ sub.

The new price for softwood pulpwood is set at SEK 500 per m³ sub.

Sveaskog's goal is to encourage active forestry among private forest owners and strengthen the overall value of the Swedish forest.
