Tamarack sawmill forced to shut down due to fire in New Meadows, Idaho

The main sawmill building at Evergreen Forest Products, called Tamarack Forest Products in New Meadows, Idaho, was forced to temporarily close due to fire.
There was no significant equipment was damaged, only electrical, control panels, computers, and scanners were caught in the fire and the roof and side of the building around the head rigs will need to be replaced.
it will take 3-6 months for the mill to return to full production but it will be able to resume partial production in 2 weeks, which would yield 200,000 board feet of lumber a day, compared to the sawmill’s normal production of 400,000 board feet per day.
