US Commerce Department releases initial findings in 5th review of Canadian softwood lumber duties

Posted on February 5, 2024   |

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has given its initial findings for the 5th administrative review (AR5) of antidumping and countervailing duty duties on particular softwood lumber items from Canada.

These early findings don't affect the current duties or cash deposit rates that are already set.

The deposit rates will stay the same until the DOC finalizes its decision and officially announces it in the Federal Register.
