US Department of Commerce adds antidumping and countervailing duties on plywood exports from Vietnam

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) issued its final decision that plywood exports from Vietnam are liable to the antidumping duty and countervailing duty as they are sourcing from China

The DOC stated imports of specific hardwood plywood products in Vietnam using Chinese-manufactured plywood inputs and components are avoiding the antidumping duty and countervailing duty orders.

37 companies failed to respond and the DOC ordered US Customers and Border Protection to gather cash deposits from these organizations at the China-wide rate of 183% for antidumping and 23% for countervailing duty.
