US sawn hardwood exports grew by 12% in H1

- In H1 2022, the US-sawn hardwood exports grew by 12% to 1.9 million m³ and in value terms, exports grew by 21% to $1.3 billion.
- The average sawn hardwood price grew by 8% in the first 6 months to $679/m³ but fell by 0.9% monthly.
- In July, exports of pine lumber grew by 23% in value to $90.6 million and in volume, exports grew by 7% to 305.8 thousand m³.
- The value of pine plywood exports dropped by 60% to $64.4 million compared to July 2021.
