Vietnam's export of wood and wood products grew by 26% in 2022

  • In October, Vietnam's export of wood and wood products (W&WP) reached $1.2 billion, on an annualized basis the export value grew by 26%. 
  • Monthly, wood exports grew by 2% to $747 million from September 2022 and 19% from October 2021.
  • In the first 10 months of 2022, Vietnamese W&WP exports grew by 11% to $13.5 billion compared to the same period in 2021. 
  • In October, wood imports to Vietnam grew by 31% to 660.7 thousand m³ and in value, imports grew by 31% to $241.1 million compared to September 2022.
