Vietnam's forestry exports grew by 6.1% in 2022

In 2022, Vietnam's forestry exports grew by 6% to over $16.9 billion compared to 2021, which includes timber and wood products of worth $15.85billion, rising by 7%, and $1.1 billion worth of non-timber products, falling by 1.3%.

Japan, China, South Korea, the EU, and the US purchased $15.48 billion worth of Vietnam's forestry products and despite the global crisis exports are increasing.

Imports for timber and wood products into Vietnam grew by 4.1% to $2.82 billion which resulted in a trade surplus of $14.1 billion, up 6.5% from 2021.
