Western Forest Products to cut lumber production to manage inventory levels

- Western Forest Products will temporarily lower its lumber production output for the rest of 2022 by 20 million board feet to manage inventory levels to present market conditions.
- This temporary reduction will be spread across the company’s British Columbia manufacturing platform for December.
- Remanufacturing and shipping operations will be uninterrupted, and lumber production at impacted sites is expected to restart in January 2023.
