Asia-America container exports fell by 13% in June, continuing an 11-month declining trend

In H1 2023, Asian container exports to the US fell annually by 21.8% to 8,171,160 TEUs.
In June, container exports from 10 big Asian economies to the US fell by 13% to 1,473,191 TEUs, continuing an 11-month decreasing trend.
Chinese exports fell by 17% to 844,700 TEUs, the 10th straight month of drop, South Korean exports by 10.5% to 154,134 TEUs, Vietnamese exports by 6% to 147,107 TEUs, and Taiwan exports by 3% to 78,480 TEUs.
However, shipments from India grew by 6% to 62,295 TEUs and from Japan by 0.8% to 33,319 TEUs.
