Australia's lengthy port strikes, causing supply chain disruptions, are close to ending after a month.

DP World, a major container terminal operator in Australia, has tentatively agreed to a 4-year deal with the waterfront union.

The agreement, helped by Australia's Fair Work Commission, awaits approval from union members.

The proposed deal includes pay raises of 8%, 7%, 4%, and 4.5% annually for 1,800 dockworkers, plus a sign-on bonus of A$2,000 ($1,319).
