CMA CGM announces rate hike for US shipments

CMA CGM has introduced new rates and surcharges for shipments to the United States.

The company will apply a peak season surcharge from the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East Gulf, Red Sea, and Egypt to the US East Coast and US Gulf starting 1 February.

The surcharge will be US$1,000 per unit for these shipments.

Starting 17 January, CMA CGM will restore rates for shipments from Guyana and Suriname to the US.

The company will increase rates by US$350 per TEU and US$700 per FEU for these routes.
