Posted on April 5, 2024   |

The CMA CGM Group announces service disruptions across Finnish ports due to ongoing political labor actions.

Initiated on March 11, the strike has been extended until midnight on April 7.

CMA CGM adjusts its vessel rotations, diverting ships away from Finnish ports and utilizing Tallinn, Estonia, as an alternative.

Import cargo destined for Finland is rerouted to Tallinn, Estonia, allowing customers the option to proceed with shipment there or await delivery post-strike.

Cargo designated for Finland undergoes transshipment in Tallinn, incurring an additional fee of €350 ($379) per container due to force majeure circumstances.

Standard storage Demurrage & Detention terms are applicable for all cargo awaiting shipment.
