CMA CGM launches port congestion surcharge in Algeria

CMA CGM has announced a new port congestion surcharge (PCS) for the ports of Algiers, Bejaia, Skikda, and Oran in Algeria.

The surcharge will be $250 per TEU and is effective from September 2, 2024, for all origins.

For shipments from the US and Latin America, the surcharge will start on September 30, 2024.
