The core objective of the plan is to improve Saudi Arabia's logistical sector infrastructure and promote economic diversification.
In alignment with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS), the plan encompasses various initiatives aimed at boosting the economy, expanding local and international trade networks, and fostering strong partnerships with the private sector.
Capitalizing on its strategic geographical position containing Europe, Asia, and Africa, Saudi Arabia desires to prove itself as a pivotal global logistical hub, catalyzing job creation and economic growth.
The comprehensive master plan outlines the establishment of 59 logistics centers, spanning a combined area exceeding 100 million square meters. These centers are strategically distributed, encompassing 12 in Riyadh, 12 in Makkah, 17 in the Eastern Province, and 18 in other regions.
Currently, 21 of these centers are at various stages of implementation, with a targeted completion date for all centers set for 2030.
