Tropical Cyclone Ilsa will be the most powerful storm to hit the coast of Western Australia in over a decade.

The cyclone is predicted to hit the ground on late 13 April or early 14 April in the towns of Broome and Port Hedland.

On 11 April, the Pilbara Ports Authority removed boats from all berths in the inner harbor of Port Hedland and urged recreational boat owners to secure their vessels.
