Egypt’s foreign trade reached about $104.7 billion in FY 2023/2024, with $72.1 billion in imports and $32.6 billion in exports.

The top 14 trading partners accounted for 64.6% of Egypt’s total trade, totaling $67.6 billion, including $46 billion in imports and $21.6 billion in exports.

The UAE became Egypt's largest trading partner with a trade volume of $9.3 billion, including $5.6 billion in imports and $3.7 billion in exports.

The United States followed with a trade volume of $7.5 billion, comprising $3.9 billion in imports and $3.6 billion in exports.

Saudi Arabia and China each recorded a trade volume of $7.2 billion, with Saudi Arabia importing $5.4 billion and exporting $1.8 billion, while China’s imports totaled $6.7 billion and exports $490 million.

Other key trading partners include Germany ($5.2 billion), the UK ($4.8 billion), Italy ($4.6 billion), Turkey ($4.3 billion), Switzerland ($4.1 billion), and Russia ($3.2 billion).
