Global schedule reliability falls to 62% in November 2023

In November 2023, the reliability of global schedules dropped by 2.5%, reaching 61.9%, but compared to the previous year, it was 5.4% higher.

Late vessel arrivals saw an average delay increase of 0.10 days MoM, reaching 5.02 days, resembling patterns seen in 2020.

Among the top 13 carriers, Evergreen emerged as the most dependable in November 2023, boasting a schedule reliability of 70.0%, followed by Wan Hai at 68.1%.

Six carriers, including Wan Hai, achieved reliability between 60% and 70%, while the remaining six ranged from 50% to 60%, with ZIM being the least reliable at 52.3%.

Six out of the top 13 carriers reported a MoM increase in November 2023, with Evergreen leading with a gain of 5.7 percentage points.

Five carriers out of the 13 showed double-digit YoY improvements, with Evergreen demonstrating the most significant improvement at 17.4 percentage points.
