Posted on July 5, 2024   |

Starting August 1, 2024, Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates by $500 per container for dry and reefer cargo from the South America East Coast to North America, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

This rate increase will continue until further notice.

Hapag-Lloyd will also raise ocean tariff rates for shipments from the Indian Subcontinent and Arabian Gulf to South Europe and North Africa.

The new rates for these regions will be effective for sailings starting on or after July 15, 2024.

The rate hike for the Indian Subcontinent and Arabian Gulf will last until July 31, 2024.

These changes are part of Hapag-Lloyd's updated pricing strategy for global shipping routes.
