Starting July 28, 2024, Maersk will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for dry container shipments from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka to Bahrain.

From August 1, 2024, Maersk will increase the PSS for shipments from the UAE, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen to Djibouti, Tanzania, Somalia, Kenya, and Sudan.

Maersk will introduce a PSS for dry container shipments from several Indian ports, including Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam, Cochin, Mangalore, Ennore Chennai, Kolkata, and Haldia, as well as Chittagong in Bangladesh, Colombo in Sri Lanka, and Male in Maldives, to Kuwait, effective July 28, 2024.
