MAWANI teams with Emirates Shipping Line to open new 'GRC' route at Jeddah Port

MAWANI introduced the "GRC" shipping service by Emirates Shipping Line to Jeddah Islamic Port, enhancing its global connections.

The new GRC route links Jeddah Islamic Port with Jebel Ali (UAE), Abqa (Jordan), and Sokhna (Egypt) with a capacity of 2,550 TEUs.

Jeddah Islamic Port has 62 multi-purpose berths, along with a logistics zone for storing and re-exporting goods.

The port includes a direct truck transport system to streamline movement in and out of the area.

It also has 2 container stations capable of handling up to 7.5 million TEUs, as well as facilities for general cargo.

Additional features include docks for ship repairs, marine services, and guidance, with a total handling capacity of up to 130 million tonnes.
