Posted on February 13, 2023 |
The new connection will boost the port’s position as a key hub for regional and global trade, while also contributing to the completion of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS).
The port is based in Dammam and will offer weekly sailings to 8 destinations in the Arabian Gulf, South Asia, and Southern Africa, including ports such as Qasim in Pakistan, Port Louis in Mauritius, and Durban in South Africa.
The new MSC service started on 21 January and will consist of 5 vessels, each with an average carrying capacity of over 6000 TEU.
