MSC unveils Panama Canal surcharge for shippers

MSC has revealed a new fee of US$297 per container for cargo traveling from Asia to the Caribbean through the Panama Canal.
The surcharge will come into effect on December 15.
Recent updates from the Panama Canal Authority highlight additional limitations on the number of vessels permitted to transit.
