Switzerland joined to secure global supply chains

Switzerland wants to strengthen the global supply chain, which is impacted by wars, pandemics, natural disasters, and other events.
In July 2022, countries around the world signed up to address supply chain and other economic problems at the Supply Chain Ministerial Forum.
The countries are France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Canada, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the EU, Italy, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UK, Spain, and the US.
Other countries also signed up which are Ecuador, Estonia, Costa Rica, Norway, the Czech Republic, Panama, Uruguay, Serbia, and Israel.
The signatories will jointly aim to ease temporary disruptions and bottlenecks in transport and logistics and address the long-term problems of supply and value chain stability, which is in line with regulatory frameworks and the participants' global duties.
