Trump delayed tariffs on Mexico and Canada for 30 days after both nations agreed to enhance border security.

On Saturday, Trump approved 25% tariffs on most Canadian and Mexican imports and a 10% tariff on Canadian energy products, set to begin Tuesday at midnight.

The 10% tariff on Chinese imports will proceed as scheduled on Tuesday, despite the temporary halt for Canada and Mexico.

Trump plans to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping soon to discuss trade policies.
